Village Pizza has been a proud part of the fabric of Anacortes for over 50-years – a family tradition for many, and a gathering place for all. During those 50-plus years of continual operation, Village Pizza has changed ownership several times, and is now owned by the Field family who has operated it for the past 17-years. About 12-years ago, Jay and Micky Field expanded and enhanced the restaurant by building out an adjacent space as a bar called the Wheelhouse – the name and décor reflecting the maritime and fishing history of our area.
The family dining room at Village Pizza is a warm, inviting, and kid-friendly area with a large mural depicting the Cap Sante waterfront from an earlier era, a large chalk-art menu, and old exposed brick walls revealing the vintage of the building and lending charm. Both table and booth seating can accommodate different sized parties, and our upstairs banquet room can seat up to 100-guests (available by reservation). Come and dine in house, arrange for take-out, or call us for delivery.
The Wheelhouse Bar is adorned with 100-large, captioned, museum quality images chronicling the maritime history of Anacortes, as well photographs of locally owned and operated fishing and pleasure vessels. You will notice other boating related cues such as: a custom made teak-and-holly bar top, lapstrake/clinker built wainscoting, teak chair rails, a large Chinook salmon, and several figurehead bowsprit wall mounts.
As a family-run business, we strive to exceed your expectations in terms of quality and service. We hope you enjoy your dining experience at Village Pizza, the camaraderie at the Wheelhouse, the natural beauty of the area, and all Anacortes has to offer.
There’s a reason that Village Pizza has endured for over 50-plus years. Come and find out for yourself - We look forward to meeting you.
Kindest Regards,
